Sergio has over 30 years of experience as a design-build / EPC executive in the design and build of a wide variety of power, industrial, federal, municipal, and commercial projects that were delivered utilizing EPC, design-build, construction management at-risk, or hard-bid procurement models. He has successfully managed profit and loss centers while working across various business lines and stakeholders. Sergio’s responsibilities also include developing the strategic direction and establishing and executing business plans in alignment with overall company goals. He has proven experience in collaboratively leading design and construction operations, strategic planning, stakeholder management, program management, project management, contract negotiation and administration, recruitment, supervision and development of professional staff, and management of multi-discipline design-build teams, project controls and cost estimating teams, and union and non-union craft labor.

Sergio received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from California State University, Fullerton. He is also certified in construction management and a licensed Class “A” general engineering contractor in CA, NV, UT, and HI.
