Director of Collaborative Delivery

Erik Anderson, PE, DBIA, based in Orlando, FL, is the director of collaborative delivery for Wharton-Smith, Inc. Erik has 20 years of extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment, much of which has been spent working on collaborative delivery projects. He is a seasoned professional with experience in both construction project management and collaborative delivery preconstruction. Erik, along with his team, focuses on delivering preconstruction excellence through the use of consistent best processes and taking a “best for the project” approach to all decision-making while employing a culture of continual improvement. As a leader in the field, Erik holds a DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) accreditation, demonstrating expertise in integrated project delivery methods. He serves as the Central Florida chapter chair for DBIA Florida. Erick is the chair of the WCDA Research Committee.

Erik has a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida and is a professional engineer licensed in Florida.
